Money is good, but it cannot solve a soul crisis. The materialist ethos of America is a dead-end whether propagated by the right or left.
The best way to heal the soul of America is to make sure people have the money they need to pay the rent and pay for heat, buy healthy food, and live lives of dignity without the crushing pain of economic despair.
