The best way to heal the soul of America is to make sure people have the money they need to pay the rent and pay for heat, buy healthy food, and live lives of dignity without the crushing pain of economic despair.

If you truly cared about any of that, you wouldn't be tweeting love letters to Biden and friends.

No we need to have a thriving economy-not just some paper that once had value. A thriving economy allows people to afford goods and services they need, gives people a purpose in life, empowers workers and raises the impoverished out of poverty, and promotes societal advancements.

It's certainly part of the solution. Providing a high standard of education, equal opportunity to work & receive an appropriate wage, a better justice system & addressing institutional racism/sexism, a national health service, decriminalization of drugs, would be others.

Sadly, I think that this country is well beyond the “healing the soul” point. The nation faces fundamental structural problems. See “Ages of Discord” by Peter Turchin.

Thank you. People need their material conditions not to be unbearably awful.

Thank you for adding the word “healthy” with food. Unfortunately, real, healthy food costs more than artificially flavored, preservative filled food. Not to mention if one has need for a special diet.
