Jeff Bezos has gotten $78 billion richer during the pandemic and Amazon has paid zero federal taxes for 3 years. It’s not just a matter of how we can be OK with that. It makes you wonder how even he can be OK with that. #WealthTax

For the welfare of the world and all the people in it there should be a maximum amount of money (which is power) that any one person can possess.

How many people do you think Amazon employs directly and indirectly? By reinvesting all their profit back into the company, they’ve employed concrete, general, electrical and plumbing contractors for all their new warehouses.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy estimates he gave 68 million to charity between 2000-2017. That’s a lot and enough. Also pledged 10 billion to address climate change. That’s enough

Devils Advocate: Amazon employs over 1M people. The idea of amazon has put food on the table of 1M people and stimulated the economy from that spending power of those families. Why should they be taxed more, when without them 1M would potentially be jobless?
