No, he didn't. He was denied bail, & his court date kept getting pushed back for 3+ yrs... in that time he was also held in solitary confinement for 2 yrs. when he was released, he attempted suicide multiple times & succeeded less than 2 yrs later. Just tragedy after tragedy 😢
