This is becoming more dishonest rather than naive. Marianne isn’t stupid at all, which makes this more problematic. He’s not doing anything for the people, let alone the left.

Biden’s picks so far show he’s at least trying to please the left as well as the center. But it’s *because* the left is refusing to be quiet that he realizes he has to! Progressives laying claim to their views and demanding that they be heard is not negativity; it’s democracy.

.@marwilliamson this is an honest question. How does it make sense to wait until AFTER the cabinet is in place to air our complaints about them? We have to do it NOW, when Biden is in office, it will be too late.

I agree with that!! I've been saying it, making the point myself. But I don't feel like his cabinet picks display a total closed ear to the things we've been saying & will continue to say. Maybe I'm wearing rose-colored glasses but I don't think so. These aren't heartless people.

The majority appear to have a history of warmongering and that's my greatest concern. He has a very poor history of making good foreign policy decisions. It doesn't help that Hillary is singing their praises. That's a HUGE red flag.

The people chosen for cabinet picks aren’t heartless. But are they listening anymore? Are they in touch with the needs and desires of the people? Most of them have been in the public sector, removed from the people for a long, long time.
