Biden’s picks so far show he’s at least trying to please the left as well as the center. But it’s *because* the left is refusing to be quiet that he realizes he has to! Progressives laying claim to their views and demanding that they be heard is not negativity; it’s democracy.

M: who do you think are “left” picks? I don’t see any.

Replying to @jonathantasini
I didn’t say they were “left”; I said they’re picks that show he’s hearing both sides. Yellen (not from Wall St.). Blinken (diplomacy/alliances) Mayorkas (created DACA). Thomas-Greenfield (Africa experience). I see all of them as possible to lobby in more humanitarian directions.

What part of Blinken and Flournoy's Humanitarian Intervention in Libya is your favorite? The ethnic cleansing of Tawergha? The open air slave markets? The murder of Gahdafi's sleeping grandchild? Or the sodomizing of Gahdafi's corpse with a bayonet?

You are smarter that this! So far, Biden has named a bunch of neoliberals, warmongers, imperialists and Zionist lackeys!

Almost everybody nominated for his cabinet has an anti-communist origin story, and they each went out of their way to speak about it moments ago in the ceremony. He's not hearing both sides, he's out to destroy the left. (But we knew this and still voted for him LOL).

For stuff that doesnt matter
Ok, you’re just showing your ignorance as to these people’s TRUE resumes
I thought we were supposed to be holding Biden's feet to the fire and pushing him left from day one? This sounds like we're placating him. Luckily, I didn't believe anything you people said and didn't vote for him. I'd be peeved.

> "Yellen (not from Wall St.)" I respectfully disagree. She's as much a Wall St creature as Jay Powell is. reuters.com/article/us-usa-f…
"Blinken (diplomacy/alliances)"
