Biden’s picks so far show he’s at least trying to please the left as well as the center. But it’s *because* the left is refusing to be quiet that he realizes he has to! Progressives laying claim to their views and demanding that they be heard is not negativity; it’s democracy.

Do you know who Biden is? He’s been a pretty progressive senator and VP his whole career. Nothing that he’s doing is appeasing anyone, this has always been his governing style. We are lucky to have him.
