I remember one year after prom, my sister and her prom date took my car to go to iHop w/their friends afterwards! I called the police but due to the GRACE of God, the cops who caught up w/them, towed my car & brought my baby sister and her date to my home! No death involved!

Too bad “our” kids” black” kids these days do NOT get 2make mistakes or experience any of the growing pains/learning lessons of youth! It’s a shame that if I were 16-17 today & took one of my parents’ car 2/go see my boyfriend, that I could be dead! WTF is wrong w/society today?

It was not a case of whether or not the car was stolen. The kids, and they were kids, did not stop when ordered too and instead drove towards the officers. I understand they were afraid of being shot regardless, but what they did guaranteed the police response. 😪

If you’re black you are assumed guilty and your life means nothing. White kids would never be shot at even if the car was stolen and they just committed a mass murder.
