There were folks on both sides holding it up, you can't place blame on one person when the majority of both parties are guilty.

They’re too busy accumulating hard assets to care... at least until the system breaks again, which will be soon. Until then, American citizens begging for help to survive are an annoying distraction from their game of Monopoly.

Yeah it would have been symbolic. Because the bill passed with 100% approval from both Congress and Senate. But her saying no, because of all the corporate bailout tack ons, would show where she stands.
