Pentagon budget is roughly $780B; some argue it’s actually more. That’s hundreds of billions of $ more than military leaders even say they need. If we cut it 20% to make every public school in America a palace of learning, culture & the arts, our future would be far more secure.

Call Biden and see if he agrees.

Most of the money doesn't go to troops but rather military contractors. Since Trump and the GOP/#MoscowMitch pushed for it does that make them #Socialist ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Better yet, defund the welfare state, since security is a legitimate function of the federal government and wealth redistribution is not.

When I was traveling in England I spoke with a British Sailor ... he said their military budget was 3 billion dollars that year ... We spent over 750 billion dollars that very same year ...

You do know Biden wants to increase the military budget? You supported him rather than supporting a third party.

U still haven't seen my pinned post, have U? If U had, U wouldn't ---keep perpetuating the lie-- that there is a shortage of $ & that in order 2 fund something $ has 2 B taken from somewhere else. FAIL! Congress can fund whatever it chooses.

How can one influence the thinking of those that will advance for a bloated military budget?

I love that '...a palace of learning, culture & the arts...'. We are all born kings, queens, princes and princesses whose palace is this wondrous world.

We need to reallocate this. Congress is supposed to represent the people. #pollthepeople @TheDemocrats @GOP
