Both economically and politically, the U.S. is so devoid of long-term thinking that we create future catastrophes with cavalier disregard. Every American child going hungry right now is going to be an angry and traumatized adult 10 or 15 years from now.

Is it too late to impeach Trump, given his total resistance to the scheduled progression of our democracy?

We have to do something now. I call upon ALL to do anything they can do to secure the health and we’ll being of our children and remain focused on that endeavor. “Nobody can do everything but everybody can do something” GSH

I agree. Every generation has some version of this. We claim to be the greatest Country on Earth, yet we choose not to take care of the most vulnerable & disadvantaged. Our government puts Billionaire's interests ahead of everyone else. It's ass backwards thinking, IMO.

We have four and eight year cycles ... One President balances the budget ... the next cuts taxes and starts two wars ... we need to plan and make commitments 20 years into the future ... otherwise it's like living in a garden where nothing is allowed to mature before it's killed!
If you are in business you are supposed to view your employees as resources, but in the food industry workers are viewed as disposable. The Republican Party is creating a lot of angry people with nothing left to lose.

If the politicians or the media actually gave a shit about poverty it might not be this bad. Long term? There’s not even a short term plan. Literally no other country in the world has failed to provide for its citizens during this pandemic except America. Do u see a 2nd stimulus?
