The reason restrictions on businesses is so devastating is because people have no other way to get money to survive. That’s why we should pay people $2k/mo. - so they can stay home!! That’s the best way to build a bridge from where we are now to a Covidless world.

So what do you call the billions given away to huge corporations if not socialism for the rich? Do you only have a problem if money is used to help the average person?

Do you have a LINK for the Billions given to CORPS that you speak of?

How about saying g no to both. 27 trillion dollar debt and the huge budget deficit and declining dp deficit can't handle handouts like that. Other countries can do it because they don't carry that kind of debt load.

The problem is inflation, we had a stimulus and an unemployment extra and everything went up in price 30% or more. A simple Reese cup went from $1.10 to $1.59, there’s no shortage of Reese cups. My wife and I need a new car, they’re not worth it. Go live with the regular folks

Too many people don't have a slightest notion of what 'Socialism' really is. @bilgladen Did you have to pay for your K-12 education? Did you pay for the road you drive on? Why are we paying taxes?

The first is a huge problem that needs to be addressed. But you don't fix that by paying people to stay home and atrophy. We need more abilities and resources to survive, not a single lifeline.
