Poverty is treated by our govt like it’s an inconvenience, a charitable cause rather than the dark underbelly of systemic economic injustice. The champions of the poor are viewed as ragamuffins who need to learn to behave, radicals too immature to understand how the system works.

$2k/mo for everyone ‘til pandemic is over, $1K/mo UBI after that, end corporate subsidies, increase taxes on corporations & top earners, Medicare4All, free college & tech schools, cancellation of college loan debt. That would begin the process of a much needed course-correction.

Utopia! The promise land.
How do we make the Democrats fight for all this? We know Repugs will never, but how about that good guy party? I know you supported Biden. Now, make him do this.

Bernie and Nina did not once tell his huge audiences to “run for office” in any speech in 2019 or 2020. Top Dems likely threatened them not to anymore bc if hundreds of insurgent progressives run each year, the establishment will fall. Bernie exposed the Dems’ weakness! NotMeUs!

So why did you vote for someone who's against every one of those things and for mass incarceration, insurance extortion and government usury instead?

I love details. Sounds great.

Biden and Company are heading the ship in the same direction. When the problem is based in Corporate greed and Coveting power, how is there ever going to be a "course correction?" Trump or Biden..a little leaven leavens the whole lump. Promoting greed is promoting greed..
That's what they call "socialism"... when in reality it's love and respect for humanity and the very least a government can do for it's people.

I really think UBI would help solve this. You proposed $2k a month and @AndrewYang proposed $1200. It makes sense on so many levels. My G.I. Bill when I returned home from the Persian Gulf was $1600 a month. I really could not live off it but it allowed me some flexibility!
