Poverty should be attacked with the same seriousness and intention to eradicate as we need to display toward Covid. In many ways it too can be a killer, as deaths of despair - suicide, addiction & abuse - increase in its presence. It should not be treated like a secondary problem

We are mistaken when we think somehow that poverty is a natural state of existence... Poverty is purposely imposed to control humanity. With all the money and resources in the world today, poverty exists to keep populations enslaved to capitalism in all its murderous forms.

In many ways ... Poverty is the supreme problem ... without the funds to purchase proper healthcare, food and shelter including sanitizer and masks ... how can you expect people to change their lives in response to this virus.

Not everyone sees it as a problem. Some see poverty as people getting their just desserts and eradicating it a great moral evil. To address the idea we need better understanding of the facts of our current system for distributing economic power and we need to discuss ethics.

There will always be poor people..Lots of ppl who grow up "poor" are the better for it actually. I think there are much worse things really. Says someone who has been both poor and comfortable. Wouldn't change anything.

No. Your empire depends on peoples despair. If people had their basic needs met, they wouldn't join the army to bomb and rob people in other countries to make oligarchs wealthier.
