1/ I don’t understand how establishment Democrats can fail to realize how much appreciation and loyalty would be created by 45 million people having their college loan debts canceled.

2/ Then imagine those same people being told that because we passed Medicare4All, they will no longer have out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.

3/ Then imagine people being told that they don’t have to worry about sending their kids to college anymore because there will be free tuition at state colleges and universities, plus free tuition at the best trade schools.

4/ Do you think they would reject you, or do you think they would vote for you? Time and bandwidth now to spend with their families, an absence of chronic economic despair, and the space to live the lives they most want to live. How can it be bad politics to treat people well?

I guarantee they realize this but WE are not their priority; all that money from their big donors is. Both parties are immune to change. The quicker WE the people give up hope in them, the quicker we can take back our country.

They don't care about 45 million people. They care about 4 or 5 $billion corporations.

There are more pressing priorities. Keeping a roof over our heads and food on our tables. There “needs” to be a new stimulus package, post haste. #pandemicrelief

The part that I feel no one understands is we can try what you said. If it doesn't work we go back. If it works we move forward and continue to make things better. Boomers and "the greatest" generation set so many norms and ruined so much.

In an ideal world, yes they’d love it. However, the more likely scenario is that many will believe what Fox News tells them of how it’s a socialist takeover and keep voting GOP for more pain and misery.
