Ford pardoning Nixon was well-intentioned but a big mistake. Justice done provides reconciliation without which it’s difficult to move on. It will be important once this administration is over that we refuse to “let bygones be bygones.” Not for revenge but for a sense of justice.

Trump stand-off is 💯 the terror inflicted by impeachment + Cohen Manafort Flynn Stone prosecutions. He wants non prosecution agreements.... he’s a caged rat....

I often wonder where we'd be now if General Motors had pardoned Nixon instead... I'll get my coat...

What you’re saying is absolutely true, but the precedent of not prosecuting former presidents ought not to be broken lightly. Given the fragile state of our democracy, and the tenuousness of Biden’s coalition, Trump on Trial in 2021 could mean democrats in kangaroo courts in 2025

Holy mackerel that’s a dangerous statement. Are you serious? So the media machine spreading lies for 4 years is reason to take revenge against a man that 4 years of smearing turned up nothing? Geezus @marwilliamson not appropriate at all.

The unconscious always will out: "Not for revenge but for a sense of justice." Oh, yeah. We've seen how the Democrats can Hate and we will not "let bygones be bygones" either.

You really don’t believe the results of this election, do you? A guy who didn’t campaign received more votes that O. Do be silly. T is and will remain your President. I hope you and others find a coping mechanism.
