Ford pardoning Nixon was well-intentioned but a big mistake. Justice done provides reconciliation without which it’s difficult to move on. It will be important once this administration is over that we refuse to “let bygones be bygones.” Not for revenge but for a sense of justice.

the challenge is that 50% of the country believes Trump's false narratives... and will not perceive it as such

I do see that, but I don’t think not prosecuting will change that dynamic. Quite a few of Nixon’s cronies went to jail, even his Attorney General. Criminals in positions of power should never be given a walk. Let the justice system play itself out.

What exactly should Trump go to jail for?

Especially when anyone whose questioned him has been treated like they’re under a dictator. Unacceptable in the United States of America. We are setting a precedent by allowing people like this to earn millions of votes and supporters. Not a good one.

The circus mentality that has run rampant in the White House must be held accountable if justice and honor are to prevail.

I so, so agree. Justice has not been served during this administration. Justice must be properly applied, as intended, always. Not manipulated, as this Administration has. #JusticeWillBeServed

Did you say that when George W Bush left office? He started a war after lying to the American people, destroyed whole countries, tortured people, and spied on Americans. Oh and same for Obama. Did you call for justice when Bush and Obama left office?
