rewrite the entire system as it is old and outdated...what once benefited the slave master back in the day the current generations isn’t going for it. Let Love, respect and rightful thinking be our guide*

Better to focus on down ballot things and ground game in the new swing states because the odds of getting a constitutional amendment on that right now is near zero.

No. This would be horrendous for our country and would immediately result in civil war. The opinions of 5 states would dictate the rest of the country, and that’s insane. We already saw this play out in CA when the city voted to take water from the rural areas, destroying farms.

No. Even the tiniest bit of reading of history will explain why it’s brilliant in a REPUBLIC.

... I disagree! We need diversity. Do you remember we always say it is important! Well, if we abolish the EC then California, Texas and NY will elect the president and politicians will forget about the priorities in the rest of the country...

So short sighted. I thought you were more visionary. Instead make electoral college proportional instead of winner take all. Then every state can be purple and politicians would have to speak to people instead of party.

The Democratic Party establishment would NEVER allow for that. It would threaten their own stranglehold on the party platform and potentially disrupt their donor base.
