Electoral college irony is it's a thing that United States have always been preaching the rest of world to not to do: Suppressing the voices of minority in the name of artificial administrative territory.
"Democracy" is just another word for Mob Rule.
We live in a Republic, not a Democracy.
If small states are squashed by Mob Rule from the coasts, they have no incentive to stay in the Union (except brute force used against them)
Our white Founding Fathers understood this.
