America is paying the price - a terrible one - for the fact that we haven’t prioritized a world-class education or economic opportunities for all our citizens. When you think where we put our resources instead, it’s painful to realize how we brought so much of this on ourselves.

Yes to education. But the content and character of education matters gravely. If we don't do that we will have so called world institutions churning out celever but docile people who will do anything to keep the status quo alive and well. Corporate mandated education is suspect

Education policies been changed back and forth for the sake there may be no civil war to the infrastructure built by outcomes of the Native lands, war, racism, & famine. But its not about equal "world class edu" anymore. It has more to do with power some complicitly desire.
It deserves it for always attacking Black people. Lawmakers - mostly Demonrats - always close schools in Black communities. Thirty-five to 45 at a time! And, never use the lottery to fund our schools like they promised. What they do to us, they will eventually do to you.

Arrogance will do that.
What are you talking about? In our nation you have the opportunity to rise up. Most others places do not afford the opportunity to change the outcome you are born into.

Who is "we"? I didn't choose for public education to be defunded or for a small group of power elites to rig the system in their own favor. Stop the victim blaming. The people destroying the planet have names and they're not average Americans who just want to make a living.
