He’s right.
The delusional refusal of Republicans to acknowledge the election results isn’t some quaint sideshow. It’s an assault on democracy that has lasting impact. If half the country starts to believe that elections are rigged then it’s hard to hold together a country this diverse.

America has had a lot of practice in sowing doubt in election results, backing coups and installing dictators. They even brought one to the White House and everyone in the chamber stood up except Bernie Sanders "the radical."

Yes! And our four year refusal to accept the results of an election wasn't an assault on democracy!

Decline of western democracies. This has been predicted for a decade or so. Trump will get a state after all...in China or Russia

But if it was a Democrat asking for the same process I’m 100% certain you would be fighting for it so the stop presenting. If Democrats have nothing to hide. How about you embrace the process.

It isn't that surprising. People like Nancy Pelosi and Stacy Abrahams said the 2016 election was hijacked. It isn't surprising that Republicans would do the exact same thing.

4 years ago, Hillary "conceded" yet went on 4 year tour saying election was rigged & everyone but her was at fault. My 5 year old takes responsibility better. Russiagate nonsense. Weren't Dems saying there would be massive post office fraud 2 weeks ago? abc27.com/news/thousands-joi…

Yes ... it sets a presicent ... if it can happen once ... then it will happen again ... and again ... Trump and his selfish behavior ... has created a lasting scar on this democracy ... a scar that won't go away for a very long time ... if ever!

Maybe this country is too diverse to remain a single country. Perhaps partition between conservatives and humans?
