The delusional refusal of Republicans to acknowledge the election results isn’t some quaint sideshow. It’s an assault on democracy that has lasting impact. If half the country starts to believe that elections are rigged then it’s hard to hold together a country this diverse.

The complaints of election irregularities is mostly partisan yelling. I'm not so sure of that last part, though. A corrupt election process is itself an assault on democracy. If the system really is that corrupt, we need to know about it and clean it up.

Did you watch the news for the last 4 years, @marwilliamson? Remember Russian-gate and how it was thoroughly investigated and nothing came of it? What about when everyone was saying last month that we should count EVERY VOTE? Every vote has not been counted.
