Americans are very good with a to-do list. When there’s a problem we want somebody to write down exact instructions what to do & we’ll try to fix if. But this isn’t one of those moments; there aren’t neat simple answers and the psychological stress of that is almost intolerable.

MAGA thrives on pesimissm and fear. It appeals to the worst parts of people. Part of America's optimism is we see a challenge and try to solve it. That's how we landed on the moon and Civil Rights movement created change. We need to restore our optimism and plan for change.
