Is there anything more amusing than the idea of God being offended? His followers are forever vigilant about anyone hurting his feelings. He's supposed to be all-knowing and all-powerful. How could people not realize the idea of an ominpotent entity being "offended" is hilarious?

The idea of God being offended doesn’t mean as in taking personal offense. But it means as in something going so against the ways of nature that it causes a reaction. And I don’t think we should mock it. It’s at least as reasonable as “Mueller’s gonna get him” turned out to be.

Yes. But mocking other peoples conceptualization of God is strategically damaging. It’s an appropriate theological argument but not an appropriate political one.
