My Trump supporting friend told me “we’re not going to just take this lying down,” they’ll “resist” the progressive new president. I asked her what it is about Biden she thinks is progressive & whether maybe she wants to see what he does she would want to resist before resisting?

She's going to resist the same wars that Trump fought that Obama fought and some that Bush fought? Okay resist away

Interesting idea, did you feel the same way when Trump was elected?

I have a feeling progressives are going to be significantly disappointed.

Didn't the left resist starting Day 1 of Trump's presidency? Did that bother you as well?

I guess those that support him didn’t get this election wasn’t about red vs blue liberal vs conservative Republican vs Democrat or taxes & guns. It was about ethics, morals, values compassion & unity. He & his party do not represent any of that. Guess they didn’t care.

Let them try and push their president toward their ideals. That’s acceptable. This delusional narrative that he’s not President-Elect is not.
