Ex-presidents have a tendency to become all wise and philosophical about things. It’s when they’re in office that they tend to create and perpetuate problems they get to be all sanguine about years later.

I don't get it. These people are getting older and older, but when you compare them to TR, Kennedy, etc... they're just ants. It's almost as if they're so busy moving through the channels of power they never had time to reflect on how their decisions would actually affect people.
