Is there anything more amusing than the idea of God being offended? His followers are forever vigilant about anyone hurting his feelings. He's supposed to be all-knowing and all-powerful. How could people not realize the idea of an ominpotent entity being "offended" is hilarious?

The idea of God being offended doesn’t mean as in taking personal offense. But it means as in something going so against the ways of nature that it causes a reaction. And I don’t think we should mock it. It’s at least as reasonable as “Mueller’s gonna get him” turned out to be.

But Marianne sorry, don't you think- and I was raised Spanish catholic myself - that the organized groups on the earth, pretending to represent Him the most - minimize him the most actually, by having reduced him to a random collection of dos & donts, left right, orrrr punishment?

Yes. But mocking other peoples conceptualization of God is strategically damaging. It’s an appropriate theological argument but not an appropriate political one.

God is pretend, hope this helps.

I mean mueller provided proof of 10 counts if obstruction of justice. People just forgot Pelosi wouldn't rock boats beyond a sassy clap

We should do nothing except mock it actually, it is utterly rediculous. The concept of God in the first place is also utterly rediculous

I love Cenk, but I always felt his interpretation of Christianity and the Bible is a little short sighted.

'God' is not offended, his base is.
It takes a wisdom and common sense to see past the description of God using human attributes. I hope Cenk would drop the mockery in favor of educating himself

The many millions of dullards among us, sadly, take these things literally.
