There’s a difference between the ravings of a malignant narcissist and the techniques of a dictator. Sometimes they’re the same and sometimes not, but focusing on the first can make you underestimate the dangers of the second.

It is scary how many millions supported a malignant narcissist who didn't try to hide it. Imagine how much worse it would be if someone with true personality and charisma tried to overthrow this democracy? Someone like Reagan, Bill Clinton or Obama? It could work.
