But there’s the rub: Improve the economy for WHO? What many people call “improving” the economy is actually now improving it for a few at the expense of the many. That’s not improvement; it’s injustice.

Vast inequality & economic uncertainty breeds tribalism, suspicion, & an unhealthy level of competition for smaller & smaller pieces of pie. Until we enact measures that significantly compel greater equality people will not cultivate being better humans.
