To those who say that not having healthcare or free higher education somehow equates to “freedom,” I’ll tell you what freedom is: freedom from the unbelievable stress & strain of going to a job you hate every single day just so you can pay for healthcare & your college loan debt.

The cost of post-secondary education is enormous and getting bigger. However, after living in Sweden for 6 months, I understand that when university education is free it is also often taken for granted. As usual the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

I believe it is just human nature to eventually take for granted such things. There's a plenty of great things we have right now that we take for granted. It's not about being spoiled brats or entitled, we just get used to it.
