I can’t understand why thinking Americans should have the same or better healthcare, or educational or economic opportunities that citizens in other advanced democracies have should be considered “too far left.” What’s the downside?

These policies would show great compassion and love for its citizens. Our current taxes should pay for healthcare for all but instead it is used for...what?

It’s not. Republicans are simply bullies who would rather call people names because they know they’ll lose the debate.

Less money and influence for the rich, and less regular people have worship and remain obedient to them. Those are the downsides.

America has moved so far to the right it has forgotten the basic needs of humanity. So pleased that I live in Melbourne, Australia with 0 Covid for the 14th day in a row due to a great public health system and @DanielAndrewsMP #socialconscience

It’s all in the advertisement of the message from the right. It has nothing to do with the promise our democratic candidate has made to us himself. Literally, you’re just talking about the power of propaganda like it has none. It does. That’s how he won his first term.

Americans are of the belief that their healthcare system is better than anywhere else in the world. This is the challenge.
