Corporatism focuses on short-term profit at the expense of long term goals, leaving us always looking backwards after a disaster saying “How did we let that happen?” 9/12, climate catastrophes, Covid. With nukes we will get no second chances. We must start to rethink things NOW.

Chomsky makes some really good points here, like how on the southern border in Texas - the parts w/oil jobs (voted for 45) it could have been explained how better jobs in green energy would have had their backs. (Assuming Dems kept their promise. )

One thing to think about is how to breach the mass indoctrination wall and spread of disinformation. No matter how much WE get it, trickle down politics & media isn't connecting too well on the ground in some places as Chomsky & many others keep pointing out.
