You know, there’s a group of (mostly but not exclusively) white guys out there who hate her guts. Odds are that at least some of them don’t have to. Whether it’s sexism, racism, self-hate, or whatever that fuels their anger, I think they can come out of it. I hope they do

True. But we all carry that ancient mysoginy equally. It’s part of our shared history. It’s the internalization of that mysoginy that corrupts the mind and weakens the character such that it fears a woman who owns and embraces her agency and defends her autonomy.

I imaging there's still a lot of that in her workplace. Rusty, cantankerous remnants of The Old Boy's Club. It's hard to change. I grew up in the deep south. I want to be better because my sobriety and sanity depend on a profound shift in the psyche & a spiritual experience
