This is why @SpeakerPelosi should step down as Speaker and @SenSchumer should no longer head the DSCC...so the Democratic Party can start standing for things the American people have made clear they want. Losses in House & Senate carry a huge message to Dems & they should heed it

@marwilliamson when society finally accepts the fact that the lobbyists dictate policy and that ultimately that’s who people like pelosi and schumer CHOOSE to answer to, rather than their constituents. That will be the moment when people realise democracy in policy died long ago.
