Like any at-risk species, our collective behavioral patterns are maladaptive for survival. We’ll either evolve or go extinct. The needed mutation is a massive change of heart in humanity’s sense of our purpose: from being here to use the world to being here to heal the world.

I think that Cain and Abel represent the 2 kinds of people that are & represent universal forces i.e. entropy vs enthalpy, create vs destroy, good vs evil, etc. In order to live, we have to seek a balance between these forces aka homeostasis.

Addendum to my previous tweet re: homeostasis - some see the multiverses as abundant; full of opportunities. Others see lack and limitation i.e. faith vs fear. The healthiest place is in the balance.

Well, yes. And there are already plenty of signs that we are headed in that (healing) direction. And in order to do this, we are in the process of shedding our reliance on hierarchical institutions (public, private, and religious) and instead forming networks to replace them.
