We’re a thing centered rather than a human centered society, and a power centered rather than a human centered economy. It feels as though we’re trapped within a matrix of immovable material forces that keep those things in place, but in fact we’re not. We can choose another way.

This all boils down to getting the money out of politics How do you get politicians to voluntarily scrap their lavish lobbyist lubricated lifestyle? I think we should remove the vote from DC. Congress writes bills, but the ppl should vote. Break gridlock, increase democracy.

Things that are tangible and easier to comprehend and measure. Sadly, those same qualities make them shallow and transitory. Education is a great counter example. If we can't comprehend this, we are doomed as a species.

I believe we need to shift our core focus from anthropocentric (human-centred inc. belief that technology will save our society) to ecocentric (planet-centred inc. how do we better support our host-home first) values for a true revolution ✅🌎💚 ecologicalcitizen.net/articl…

Our conditioning from birth drags us away from our humanity and the humanity of others . It makes us want to be close to power and the powerful rather than fight for equality and justice.
