People are saying Biden won by having a moderate message, so progressives need to be very careful. But there is no evidence Biden won by having a moderate message. Based on Congressional races results, there’s just as good a chance he would’ve won by a bigger margin being bolder.

45 million voters hold college loan debt that’s crippling them. How would it have been bad politics to tell them that if you elect us we’ll cancel those debts? Especially since a good argument is made for how much it would stimulate the economy for the money to be in their hands!

The kids taking on these loans (and parents) need to know what it means to plan. Government should not be a "cosmic butler"; bail out anyone who trips and skins a knee. What are we teaching? You gotta have a plan. Plus, it's definitely f'ed up for those who already paid.

he won by being not trump, and mostly un-noticeable

What?!? Doe that even make sense? No, you are a spritulist, not an economist. The first lesson kids need to learn when going to college is "live within your means". Government loan forgiveness will cause the cost higher education to increase. Stop the free money!

That is a $1.5T gift to 14% of the population. #M4A saves $700B/year, a boon to the vast majority of Americans. Let's do that first. Then let's talk about why people take on so much useless college debt. First up, Bill Clinton who took around $20M from for-profit Laureate.

I think where you might be able to corner him is on risk pools. No loud voice has yet explained what a risk pool is. No real voice has ever explained why it changes expensive healthcare into worldwide standard, inexpensive health care. That's a better place to start.

Since when is ignoring an obligation to repay a debt, in the hopes someone will make it go away for you, good for this country? All it does is put people on the teat of the gov't. What do I tell my daughter, who made it a priority to pay back her college loans in 18 months?

Hope you talk more about this and you have a place in the new Biden administration 💥 @JoeBiden
