People are saying Biden won by having a moderate message, so progressives need to be very careful. But there is no evidence Biden won by having a moderate message. Based on Congressional races results, there’s just as good a chance he would’ve won by a bigger margin being bolder.

45 million voters hold college loan debt that’s crippling them. How would it have been bad politics to tell them that if you elect us we’ll cancel those debts? Especially since a good argument is made for how much it would stimulate the economy for the money to be in their hands!

What is making you protect him so fiercely? Biden is not progressive, and will not champion those causes. Biden has stolen only key talking points. That’s all.

I doubt most people could describe Biden’s platform or key policy promises beyond getting pandemic under control. Beyond that I think many people voted to restore competence and honor to the WH.

Indeed!!!Let's remember many out there running their mouths disparagingly about the progressives have brought nothing to the table. When they do we can have a serious discussion. Otherwise they are simple, divisive elements seeking to tear apart the Biden-Harris coalition

Well, to begin "moderate" is really a misnomer for Biden's imperialism and center-right politics. But yeah, more house seats would have been picked up had someone with any actually helpful policies like M4ALL ran.

.@MarkLevin is in one of the most traditionally conservative districts in CA, it includes Camp Pendleton. It was held by Darrell Issa for years. He supports a GND, M4A, and College for All. HE takes no corporate $ Result:

@AOC is the future of the Democratic Party, NOT @KamalaHarris. #2024

It’s an overgeneralization. States and regions have different needs and issues. What works in some parts of the country may not work in others.
