.@AOC still fails to appreciate how this country votes outside of NYC. Says this guy from NYC. Dems just won by being moderate. And sheโ€™s already making plays for power inside the partyโ€”while Georgia still hangs in the balance. Democrats can ALWAYS be counted on to eat their own.
โ€œIโ€™ve been begging the party to let me help them for two years. Thatโ€™s also the damn thing of it. Iโ€™ve been trying to help. Before the election, I offered to help every single swing district Democrat with their operation. And every single one of them, but five, refused my help.โ€

Replying to @PaulRieckhoff @AOC
How do you know that they won by being moderate? There is no particular evidence for that. How do you know that they wouldnโ€™t have won by a bigger margin with a bolder message?

I don't understand why the DNC is actively turning away voters rather than working to be inclusive. Who does this help? What do you hope to accomplish other than insulting people who JUST helped win this election?

Amazing the establishment has convinced so many that only corporate Dems can win elections when the majority, including Republicans support policies that will benefit them over big business.

Because then we'd be congratulating President Bernie Sanders right now. That's why.
I like the bolder message for its bigger audience. The lessened response was for the lessened appeal of the moderate whine, which only capitulates to Republican demand.
Maybe the evidence is that Joe Biden was nominated, and elected, not Bernie.

I can't say I know for certain, but I do know a lot of people who voted for Trump or third parties because of "defund the police," threat to scotus, and the shoddy way Democrat run cities handled rioting. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Portland

Being a socialist is not bold. Itโ€™s being a thief.
I voted dem because trump is legit insane. Biden was not in my top 10 preferred candidates. His platform is irrelevant. Dems were going to vote blue anyway. The rest of us were going to vote Not Trump. Its the progressives who withheld their vote because of the platform.
