NPR’s Mara Liasson yesterday said “the Left will simply have to be patient and take what it can.” Corporatists don’t just suppress campaigns; they create narratives & expect the rest of us to buy into them. The Left isn’t some errant child; it’s the biggest grown-up in the room.

Thank you @marwilliamson for speaking the truth here again. I wish a lot more people on "the Left" wd be A LOT more respectful of yr work & who YOU are as a person & not be so ignorantly& objectifyingly buying into the #MSM dismissive characterization of you. Bless YOUR patience!

Mar Liasson likely makes more in one month than most of us make in an entire year at work.

I think that one of the biggest problems with the democratic party is that there is a culture of low expectations. Taking what we can get is how we got into this mess. "Going high" means don't come out fighting. There needs to be a big culture shift going

They indeed so suppress campaigns. They call up their lackeys in the party structure, and have them threaten any progressive candidate. I've listened to the calls made by junkyard dog Steny Hoyer to progressive congressional candidates.

I used to think NPR was well intentioned. Now I realize they have no reason to report from outside their bubble.
