Tomorrow morning Newsweek will post my article “Battle for the Soul of the Democratic Party.” Tonight I just want to breathe easy for the first time in four years, forgive myself and everyone else, and allow myself to fully take in what it means that that chapter is over.

I’m sorry Marianne, I love your mind, but isn’t it the soul of the Republican Party that needs rescuing. After all they’ve helped perpetuate Trumps lies, and reckless behavior. Thank you for all you give to Americans.

I do feel you on this. The thought that someone will actually tackle Covid, help immigrants reunite with their parents, reinstate the Dream Act, that is beautiful no matter what ur political leanings.

@marwilliamson I had the exact same feelings. I cried and laughed. Thankful they gave us our day of emotion and celebrating after years of suppression. We were not hurtful or hateful. There was nothing but joy!#worldcelebratedwithbiden #dancinginthestreets

The last four years have really been abusive to our souls. Constant chaos, constant threats to somebody all day every day, constant calls for attention like a toddler! And through it all, the repubs stood with him and supported that crap and still have not paid any price. Win? no
