Just a stunning statement from, again, Biden surrogate John Kasich: "The Democrats have to make it clear to the far-left that they almost cost him this election."
It wasn’t progressive policies but the defund the police messaging that hurt Democrats. Reform the police would have been better or retrain the police. Defund the police was used by the far right to portray Democrats as wanting chaos and anarchy out on the streets.
Given that progressive Democrats voted en masse in support of the president elect and provided a considerable percent of the Dem GOTV ground game volunteers, this is a truly bizarre statement. Perhaps John Kasich needs someone to blame now that he couldn’t deliver his own state.
May I suggest, “I will never again support any corporate funded candidate in a general POTUS election. Never again can the DNC use the lesser of 2 evils/3rd party spoiler arguments again. I’ll only support grassroots funded uncompromising progressive candidates from here on out.”
