I remember not really wanting to go see Schindler’s List but feeling I had to in honor of my ancestors. I feel something similar tonight - remaining awake in honor of those who were genuinely victimized by the cruelty of this administration’s policies.

Over 200,000 have died of Covid, many more than if he’d responded responsibly. Millions are desperate in the absence of direct cash relief. And thousands of parents & children will never recover from the trauma of separation. No it is not an overstatement to refer to his cruelty.

Does he get credit for the millions that recovered and survived? Or only all of the deaths?

Replying to @slice157
That credit goes to doctors and nurses and hospital administrators, almost all of whom were working under unnecessary duress caused by his irresponsibility.

Many of those people died from preexisting comorbidities.. many of them caused by obesity. Obesity is a lifestyle choice btw..
Replying to @marwilliamson
Oh ok. So heart disease, other pre existing conditions, and personal choice in those deaths don’t play a factor? Only the president is strictly responsible? Give me a break. 99.98% of survival if you contract it. Quit playing politics with people’s lives.

exactly because those in hospitals put their lives on the line and we lost many of them!
