For years to come there will be much to analyze, and the work of repair will be long and hard, but I hope we never lose the emotional sobriety with which many people have only for the first time begun to approach politics. This itself was a much needed course-correction among us.

What is the course correction? The country will still be completely divided. The media will continue to choose sides and ferment division, and none of us will try to understand why the "other side" feels the way they do.

Yes it is time for us to take an inventory as a nation and figure out what we learned about ourselves as a country. So many just want to blame racism on Trump’s popularity but it is Much more complicated than that.

Some times in life we need people to make us appreciate what we take for granted and if anything this is what Trump taught us all the world over. One man can destroy all institutions if given too much power or enabled.

Like I said, now we have Biden in WH and got nothing to fear. He’ll take care of the pandemic. I’m sure he is going to put on his cape and be the hero everybody needs. Good luck!
