As we near the moment of knowing that this nightmare will be over, I’m not experiencing the giddy excitement I expected to feel. I feel more the shock of knowing how close we came to the demise of our democracy, and an almost tearful gratitude that we survived.

Still a lot of work for the Dem party to do. Heed the analysis of @AndrewYang & don’t let the party tear itself apart from within as the House caucus call yesterday indicated is already happening. Outcome wise this was a good election. Each side gained and each side lost a little
