As we near the moment of knowing that this nightmare will be over, I’m not experiencing the giddy excitement I expected to feel. I feel more the shock of knowing how close we came to the demise of our democracy, and an almost tearful gratitude that we survived.

I think instead of being tearful you should consider why the Democratic establishment spent over a billion dollars n picked a candidate who can barely beat the worst president in history after going out of their way to get rid of Bernie.

I have been nauseously optimistic. When all is said and done, I can only exhale. This race only revealed to me that we have so much more work to do.

I’m relieved to see that we are changing this. Many people fell under his spell and I’m comforted by the fact that so many fellow Americans have collectively snapped their fingers to help break the spell.
