I will be VERY happy if Biden wins, but it won’t be a healing; it will be a reprieve. It will give us one last chance to alter patterns of economic & criminal injustice that too often guide our public policies. The work won’t be over if he’s elected; it will have only just begun.

Except Biden's campaign has already been making excuses to enact austerity measures and make as little meaningful changes as possible.

LOL those patterns will be strengthened and worsened. Come back to the real world where Biden and Kamala are recognized for the monsters of injustice that they are.

Can this be a fully honest statement @marwilliamson What do people do when the response is "we can fix what Trump did in a few years" or "The congress isn't working with us"? What do you and Biden supporters say when nothing changes? Will you be leading the revolt in the streets?

He won't be elected. Make peace with that now.

Replacing Trump with Biden is like replacing a prison warden with a new warden...you're still in prison

The dream for a better future died in March and it was assassinated by the people you chose to celebrate. Ok.

Much more likely, it means 8 more years of neolib/neocon policies un examined by the purposefully asleep “lib” msm, w/ some woke window dressing, & therefore, a majority of citizens left with no meaningful representation. Furthering the Duopoly does no good. See the last 40+ yrs.

Dude, they don’t want that kind of change. They are laser focused on status quo. This ‘reprieve’ you see will likely end in us electing a Cotton-like monster fascist. How do you think we got the current clown anyway?

I will be very scared with either of the two. I’d be specially scared of Centrists and non-political people going back to sleep under a Biden term, though.
