When all this is straightened out and historians are looking back with a clear eye, those in positions of power who knew better and said nothing will be deemed as condemnable as he. It's never just one man's fault; it's also those who conspire, if only with their silence.

Yeah but unless people go a step beyond that theyll be laughing it up all the way to the bank while the rest of us languish in misery. Bush and Cheney are already able to be "condemned", no historians required, and yet, nothing. They need harsher consequences to fear.
