My father died 25 years ago today. So many times over the last 4 years I've been glad he wasn't here to see what's happening in this country; it would have broken his heart. But if he was here he'd be fighting like hell, saying "Don't let the bastards get you down!"

He sounds like a rebel... He would have voted Trump in 2020...

I know but there are just sooo many Republican and Democrats bastards we have to launch into the sun.

I think the same of my Grandpa who fought in WWII Battle of the Bulge. Even my Grandma who was a Republican would have been outraged. My Mom would have probably been suicidal. She struggled with how screwed up people and the world were and she hadn't seen anything compared to now

I remember that our dads died right around the same time-mine just before yours earlier that year. I feel the same exact way u do!! My dad fought in WWII & would be destroyed 2 c Neo-Nazis legitimized after all he sacrificed + he was a NYer & always thought Trump was an a$$! ❤️

I remember that day. You were to give one of your monthly ACIM talks in NYC at The Town Hall, and at the last minute you had to cancel because of your beloved father’s passing. Sending you a big hug and your father would be right, “Don’t let the bastards get you down!” 🤗
