Read the book again! Every character had transformed by the end. Calling someone a Pollyanna should be considered a complement. She was actually a total change-agent and that’s what the book was intended to be about.

Not to be a big stinker, but Polyanna was a fiction, no? I am a student/follower of @Amritanandamayi, who is the most positive, loving person on the planet, who encourages a positive, loving attitude in every situation. But American politics and politicians? I've seen too much.
